"Upon arrival I would give them 2 stars. I made the reservation on line in the morning signed and paid for everything. When I arrived to storage solutions in the afternoon w a car filled as much as possible the office door was locked and no one was there to help me. I called the number on the door and the lady customer service lady wasn’t helpful at all said I just have to wait. I waited for 25 minutes before calling again. This time there was an amazing gentleman who assisted me and apologized many times for someone not being available on site. He was able to pull up my account find my unit number and my access code and I was able to get in no problem. I was supposed to get a email with all that information and I still have not received any emails not even in my junk mail. Once I was in 5 stars unit was clean, easily accessible and there were many dollies to help me move my things."

The convenience of the drive-thru and climate controlled rooms is a huge plus, but it’s more than that. The entire location is spotless inside and out! I live in Arlington, and there are many storage places closer, and I’ve used a few of them over the years including the big names. Some flat surfaces 4 wheel 'dollies' (?) provided.unload truck truck to dolly to elevator to 2nd or 3rd floor bin location. Lock can be purchased in office. 24,7 access with code. If unloading truck try to avoid'rush hour'. 3 people to unload truck for security of open truck and open bin makes it fairly easy. Well done to office, cleanliness, inside unloading, and inside temp humidity control."

I was able to bring my 15-ft. UHaul right into a special garage right next to the elevator. As promised, there were two well-functioning carriers. The entire place was well-lit and air-conditioned. "I visit North Reading Storage Solutions regularly. It is located on Route 28 (Main Street in North Reading), and very close to the North Reading/Reading town line. Navigation to the facility is not necessary but may be helpful for those not familiar with the area. Very easy to find. Digital codes are required to enter and leave the facility on foot, or through a drive thru garage entrance. This allows users to drive into the facility, park their vehicle, unload without getting wet from rain or snow. (Users MUST be mindful of the height of their truck). Trucks with heights exceeding the garage door height, MUST be parked and unloaded in the parking lot. Most of the facility's exterior and ALL hallways of each floor are well illuminated and monitored on approximately 30 closed circuit televisions located in the office. Employees of North Reading Storage Solutions, who are well versed in the storage industry, regularly walk the hallways and report any unusual circumstances (anomalies) to their managers. Storage rooms are available on three levels. Three freight size elevators are available to access the 2nd and 3rd levels with sturdy pull carts. Lockers vary in size according to a renter's needs. Speak with an employee of North Reading Storage Solutions to obtain height, width and depth measurements of individual storage lockers. The storage locker I use is located on the second floor. The locker has the (capacity) to occupy the equivalent of two compact cars, and costs $350/month. (However, storage lockers are not accessible by automobile and ARE NOT designed to store automobiles.) All areas of the facility, including the restroom (which also requires a digital code to enter) are well lit and wheelchair accessible. The facility is temperature is controlled by computer, and set at approximately 55 degrees. My monthly payment is automatically deducted from my checking account. North Reading Storage Solutions is highly recommended."

"First of all the good; clean facility, at least my building/unit. Climate control remained working for the 2 months I used it. Enough lighting and cameras that I felt safe. Access to the units makes sense. Folks working in the office are helpful. I had a unit at the rear of the facility that was a walk-thru indoor unit, not a drive-thru or exterior unit. However, on multiple occasions I rolled up to find the exit fence wide open (3 times) and, more importantly, the doors of my building were wide open in the middle of the night. In one instance I manually shut the door and locked it and called management. Had to leave a voicemail because it was at night (8-9 PM?). Nobody ever responded. Once I realized there really isn't 24/7 response time, I stopped calling, but did find the doors open at least 5-6 times at various times of day. So, despite the climate control, not really going to keep animals/insects and inclement weather out fully. Wish they had responded. The problem seems to be that the sensors get fogged due to condensation with the cold meeting the warm, then they detect the fog as an obstruction and the doors remain open. Either fix this or at least get back to people when they call with a concern; could be the next day, but return phone calls so we don't think you're an absentee landlord. Or inform people that this can happen and how to mitigate the issue themselves. Also, if you're getting a unit in the rear of the facility, be aware that on at least one of the buildings, there is an incline leading to the door (this is the building with units in the 6000s) that isn't all that noticeable; but you'll sure notice it if you use the supplied cart and leave it unattended for a second to open your vehicle; several times the cart slid down the incline and I had to act quickly to catch it. Not sure if this is why the unit was discounted or what but just be careful up there."

Very clean, well lit, modern, climate controlled interior units of all sizes. I rented a roomy 10 x 30 ft. The automatic doors are very large so plenty of room bring in larger items. They also have moving dollies available to use. They also sell moving supplies in their office. We sold our home and needed storage for a number of months and they had just what we needed."

The facilities are remarkable: temperature control, humidity control, multiple points of security, easy drive in and loading area (covered and sheltered from the weather) and even flat dollies to help you move boxes/items in and out. "I've been a customer for almost 7 years now. Diane and staff are wonderful, friendly, honest, and fair. The facility is always accessible, safe, dry, environmentally well-controlled (not humid in summer, not frozen in winter). I've never seen any evidence of bugs, rodents, or birds like at some other places (Beverly Self-Storage on Rantoul Street, I'm looking at you). There have been two or three nominal price increases since we began renting, but I am extremely satisfied with Leominster Storage Solutions and will continue to do business with them for as long as I'm living in the area!"
